I am still waiting on Glen to get me some background on this razor. The beauty mark...only enhances my rugged good looks. :happy108:

  5. Thank you, Clint. I piffed my old-style bottle to a gent on TSN. Sorta wished I hadn't. :angry019:

  8. No Shave Day.

Lots of work to get done (busy is good, right?). Add 18 year old daughter & broken iPhone today.

I may start shaving my head sooner than I thought......

  9. I do have a problem landing it on my face without cutting yourself, LOL . or occasionally a bit of sideways motion.
My Parker is not the fancy closing version, if they are different. The Artizan Feather knockoff I ordered never arrived.
I'm good so long as I don't try ATG. Since I'm trying only one or 2 passes at most this month maybe I'll give it another go.

  10. Cut, Knick or Weeper, Paul? That area seems to be your nemesis. Maybe you need to approach it from a different angle?

  11. Good to see the Williams making the shave scene, Gary. How did you mentholate it?

  12. The set-down can give straight users trouble. Make sure your razor is "in-motion" and with a modicum of momentum when starting a pass.

  15. Nice shave, Joe. I used the SBST as well. It pairs pretty much with every soap I own.

  16. Great photo and great shave, Clint. Sounds to me like you are getting a grip on the Pils.

  17. Nice shave, Danny. Are you going to roast those seeds?

  18. Well done, Terry. With all of these razors without safety bars, using a traditional razor will be a let down.

I'll add....use your slickest soap. Proraso Pre-Shave cream also really helped me as I was learning. Slicker than snot on a doorknob (one of my Grandfather's favorite quips).

Also...since this sounds like a Parker shavette where you can change the blade. You can practice a complete shave, without the blade (but still using shaving cream) just to get the hand/wrist/arm/muscle memory started.
