Still rotating through everything besides razors. I have changed knots in this brush, though. I had a crack in the Cypress handle that this SHD knot was in. I transplanted it into this fave handle and will put the Zenith into something else. It survived the extraction nicely. I might have this one a mm or two too deep to be honest as I think it had a wider bloom before. Still a quality feel regardless.
I swapped out the Vintage PAL blade from yesterday and put in a Personna Twin blade, as I'm quite sure that Gillette intended this Injector to be used with their own Twin blades. It made a huge difference. This is still the smooth & easy shaver it was yesterday, but with increased efficiency. I do feel guilty using a twin blade in anything but it is clearly needed in this razor. I may keep it, I may not. If I do, it will replace an I1, which I would put aside for my son if he ever wanted to try an Injector. I wouldn't saddle him with this razor, as finding either brand of vintage Twin blades isn't a 2 minute job. Finished with the Booster, which I thought I had passed all of it on to a friend. Apparently some time in the past I filled a small vial for travelling. Booster is kind of a 'Canadian Pinaud' in that it has a long history in Canadian Barbershops and is in the same (cheap!) price range.
    Have a great day all!

  11. Very nice, Joe. That White Synthetic looks pretty unique to me. At first I thought it was a Cashmere (or whatever Oumo called the original), but it looks lighter than that. Interesting.

Excellent shave today with this equipment. The brush performed magnificently along with the shave cream. Very easily whipped up a great lather.

  17. That Thater bulb always looks perfect, Clint. Glad to hear you have the MWF figured out. I knew you'd find a way to get it usable. I know this doesn't affect performance at all, but their ceramic dishes are so iconic in our little hobby. Has your opinion changed yet on a rebuy?
