    A very nice Sunday morning shave today.

    When I first started wet shaving and especially when I experimented with straight razors I discovered the benefits of skin stretching. As I shaved this morning I realized that I'm getting so good at it that by this time next year I should be able to pull my cheeks up over my eyeballs.

    The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #4 High Mtn. Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Not all of it: mostrly some Northern regions.
    Here they cannot (or refuse to) enforce law and can't get rid of bureucracy, so everything is compliacted and useless...

    I should have bought an island on the Alps when I had the chance to...

    Very nice. I have two of Frank's soaps and that's going to do it for me. Honestly, while they are good, they are too soft for my tastes.

    BRUSH: Sapele/Acrylic Handle w/ new Omega Pro48 Boar Knot
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Osage Rub.

    I have what used to be called ‘Maximo Gomez Cuba’ by the old owners. It is now just called Maximo and is truly one of my all time favourite scents. A beautiful Tobacco
