Hello All, I'm just a small collector of DE and SE razors of varying descriptions and ages. I'll post a pic of my collection soon. Nice to be here!
Thanks for the warm welcome people! Here's my collection. Hopefully my armoury will be bolstered soon with a pristine "Made in England" Ever-Ready and a not-so-pristine-but-nicely-patina'd "Made in the USA" Ever-Ready. The postman better be wearing gloves as I'm ready to bite his hands off for them! Pete.
to TSD @Bletherskite You have a wonderful collection. I have a "Made in England" Ever-Ready, you'll like it when you get it. Great balance and hand feel, well made, fantastic shaver.
Welcome aboard. Nice collecting start. I'd recommend adding the following razors based upon what you have so far. First one is the Razorock Hawk V3 specifically the one with an open comb base plate. I can't think of any other modern Artist Club blade razor that comes with an open comb so that is the reason why for that one. Also looks like you don't have any slant razors so I'd recommend something made by Yaqi, they have a bunch of unique slant designs but usually you have to buy those through aliexpress or their website. I'd also recommend getting a vintage Schick Type A, B or C magazine repeater razor and make sure you get it with an extra magazine clip to load the blades so you can use the repeater to load and unload blades. The Type A also from a historic standpoint is the first razor ever made by Schick. If you want another historically significant injector get a Type D since that is the first Schick injector razor and first injector style razor period.
Welcome @Bletherskite , glad you decided to join us here at TSD. I'm also glad to see you included a bakelite razor in your collection, though I think you need more vintage razors.
