I have three Techs. They all shave about the same...actually, I would be hard-pressed to discern any difference between them. They are easy to wield and if the blade is sharp, you will get a great shave. Nice photo, Jason.
i knew a guy that used them as window winder handles on his 70s camaro..shave brush would be cool..camaro ,not so much..
NOVember Barrister and Mann~~dubl duck #4~~Detroit National Cut. Co.~~Ogallala Bay Rum, Bay Rum, Bay Rum...you all bored yet? Not Primo... Last evening I decided to refresh the razor. Went back to an 8K Norton and progressed through a 16K Shapton. Used the Japanese technique of honing. Is there a name for it? I have come to realize that I will never be a honemeister, however, I can get an edge that doesn't feel rough and removes all stubble. Works for me. So, as I make my way through this tub of soap (it will NOT last the month), I am still creating some of the most gorgeous lather possible. I mean..come on, isn't that a sight?? The #4 has usurped my Rubberset as my favorite boar brush. The handle design is perfect. Two passes and some clean up and avoiding all bloodshed, I got a wonderful shave. The Ogallala was refreshing with a modicum of sting and a scent that Bay Rum lovers across the globe would approve of.
