Another sneaky peak for Gary @brit. Big Red is up in the morning. My wife said I could borrow a mixing bowl. Look at the shine on that Rubberset 400 Jason @jtspartan!
I looked at their website site and it just states "stone washed". I found the short video below. Looks like a bunch of rocks throwed in a jar. Some knife maker do it by hand and some with tumblers. Very interesting finish. I know some metal is finish with round media in various sizes of media.
Thanks, Jeff. I have never tried MWF. All of my teasing around MWF (and Williams for that matter) is around the gymnastics that a few folks seem to report on to get decent lathers. Now, if you want to talk Arko or Clubman, then I can definitely pick on those cheap (defined many ways) products from personal experience, until the cows come home.
Yup. I see that Sharpologist recently bashed SV Felce Aromatica. He made a comment about taking the scent out of the equation on his review. Really? Why bother then.
The Sharpologist review of Tabac admits good performance but essentially dismisses the soap due to the scent. I attribute it to differences between reviewers and their opinion of what constitutes a good soap. I don't mind if they get it wrong. I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain my reasoning to them.
Most people don’t realize how much money is made by these people on you tubers. They get paid for click bait. Many of them are able to parlay their channels into a full time gig with fantastic paychecks. I don’t think many of them know or care that much about what they say as long as they get the click. Given their financial incentives I don’t value their opinion any more than a testimonial on late night television. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Jeff. The 400 was fine sanded and then polished with Eagle One never dull wadding polish. I polished it up about once every two weeks with the wadding polish.
