Thanks Tim, I was looking for some TOBS Sandal wood because I used up my TOBS S.W tub up and they were sold out so thought this CRS should be tried out. Other folks seemed to like it and so far so good. It is hardly mentioned Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood on any sites, but it is working well for myself and a happy camper.

(adjustable razor & shave stick Week.)

    Greetings,

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

The subcontinent razor and blade duo was a wonderful smooth efficient match mowing through my stubble with effortless ease.

The Trig stainless blade are made by the Treet co in Pakistan i have used these blades a few times in the past and have always had good shaving results with them today was no exception. They come in two different covers blue & green both of the blades have impressed me with their sharp longevity and smoothness. As to say which is the better blade between them, they are the same blade just in different packaging for selling purposes.
The Vie-Long horsehair brush & shave stick duo performed with brilliance building up a slick protective lather on my face in a short space of time creating enough lather for the full shave without having to re-apply to my face to create more lather.
Once in a while i get what i consider a 'BBS' shave, today is one of those days.. A very enjoyable flawless 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report....Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

    2020-11-14, Saturday

Despite what the solons say, here, in the red zone, everything remained green.

It was a few days that I wanted to enjoy the beautiful scent of Aramis, one of the two fragrances of my roaring years. OK, all right... meowing!
In those days it cost a lot of money, now, I'm not saying that it's a giveaway, but almost.
And, what's more, in Italy cannot be foud: I had to get it in Germany and in the US: life puts always obstacles in front of us!

However, this soap, if on the one hand it offers a heavenly fragrance, on the other it has some non-thrilling lathering characteristics.
And that's why I have combined it with 3P which, if on the one side, is now absolutely odorless, on the other lathers quite well.

And it came out a superb shave: I am happy, smooth and fragrant.
If we were not locked in the house, I would invite you to smell me! Paying, of course...

The Arko Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #220 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Weck Sextoblade US Medical straight with a Personna Hair Shaper blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Saturday morning:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Minora day 14
    OSP Bay Rum SS
    Prep ASB
    Krampert’s Bay Rum AS Splash
    Polo Green EdT

Well, the Minora blade lasted for two weeks and that’s the longest I’ve ever used any blade for. What a pity that James closed up because he made such great soaps. This bay rum scented one smells beautiful, it’s tallow based, the lather is marvellous, and the skincare is excellent. Not only does the Prep soothe and leave my skin feeling great the scent of it somehow pairs so well with a bay rum product. The Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave has a lovely scent which doesn’t interfere with any fragrance I wear and it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing. Two passes were all I could get from the Minora but the results were a helluva good, close shave!

    Be well and safe!
