    Razor: Gillette Fatboy E4- mfg 1959,4th qtr, Excellent razor and always a joy to use . Settings 5>7, 2 pass + pickups.
    Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP (4) Sharp & smooth, top tier blade for myself.
    Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian sandal wood, very nice sandal wood scent with excellent lather qualities.
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24 mm- old faithful brush for the last 3 1/2 yrs, excellent lather creator with soft tips for painting lather.
    Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [​IMG] Excellent shave with my Gillette Fatboy + Gillette 7oClock Sp.

    BLADE: Two stacked Polsilver DE
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub withArgan Oil.
    BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger Fan Knot
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Osage Rub.

    Soviet Gillette Aristocrat adjustable knockoff, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, shave 6

    Soviet made razor most likely sometime in the 60s. The razor based upon some asking around was most likely made as an official gift for visiting dignitaries, diplomats that sort of thing. The razor looks identical to a Gillette Aristocrat adjustable except for the end caps and markings on it as seen in the picture. Mine has alignment issues with one side having more blade exposure than the other. I used the side with more blade exposure set at 9. Razor as it is right now is definitely more aggressive than a Gillette Aristocrat set at the same. That could change a little if I decide to fix the alignment issues. End result BBS finish achieved.
