SOTD November 16, 2020 RazoRock Blue Barbershop soap and splash Schick G5 injector Stirling Kong synthetic brush Easy shave this morning as I continue to work through my software. I've always enjoyed the scent of Blue Barbershop and the soap quality is outstanding. It's also quite cheap! Good stuff all around. Enjoy your day!
NOVember Barrister and Mann Bay Rum~~Rubberset 400/3~~Detroit National~~Meehan Bay Rhum This is about the 15th shave this month with this straight. What is it proving? It's proving you can get great shaves with one tool. Many do, and I specifically refer to our friend, Jeff @Yehuda D who uses his Super-Speed daily and has a great, albeit chilly shave. Kudos to you, Jeff! I am reaching the end of the B&M Bay Rum, so I took the last of the soap and transferred it into my Aesop SS bowl. The Rubberset seemed to enjoy the new environment and went to town. This razor is hands-down the simplest razor to use in my den. Zero complaints. It's the Volvo of straights (That one is for you, Gary). DFS++ results, with the usual remnants on the neck. Witch Hazel removed all evidence of soap and a nice, healthy splash of the Meehan completed my morning ritual. Off to the dentist. Side note: I really like my dentist. She is efficient, gentle and friendly, BUT, she talks NON-STOP.

November 16, 2020 Merica (WSC & Yates) Feather Simpson Duke 3 Synthetic La Toja Shave Cream & Aftershave I decided to stick with the Merica razor this week but went with a Feather blade. The little Duke 3 did a wonderful job face lathering the La Toja cream. I really like the mineral/herbal scent and the performance is first rate. Three passes and touch ups ended in another drama free BBS shave. I really could not tell the I had a Feather loaded instead of the Tatra Platinum. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
