Broke out the Stirling this morning. For some reason I have been neglecting my Stirling.

The Rubberset 400 with the Omega 10065 boar knot whipped up some very nice lather this morning. The Above the Tie Kronos with the H2 plate and an Astra brought the baby home with three passes. No blood loss and I am smooth from ear to ear. :) A couple of splashes of Sharp Dressed Man and I am smelling better than normal. :D I am too pretty for work today so maybe I should wake the wife up and go somewhere? I got bills so I better go to work.:angry019: I do like to eat. All joking aside, I am thankful that I have a dependable place to work. A lot of folks cannot say that.

Hope every one has a great day.

  12. Great post, pic and shave Maestro! I don't mind doctors talking, but sometimes, I just want them to just do what they need to do and curtail the chit-chat. Admittedly, I am not the best patient.

    November 16th

Zingari Man SS, ASB, RS - The Wanderer (barbershop)
    J.A. Henkels Friodur 5/8
    BSSW Disco

Pleasant 2 pass shave today on 72 hours growth (hadn't gone that long since Dec 2018). Did an extra touch up on the lower right neck/jawline which left a very nice BBS- result. This Friodur was rescaled and honed by Glen (gssixgun). It's a buttery smooth shaver. Small weeper under the right nostril (skin blemish), but stopped on it's own. Superb lather from the BSSW disco and Zingari Man's shave soap, slightly thin (on purpose) for the first pass, then beaten like a dirty blanket into thick & yogurty facial bliss for the remainder of the shave. Light application of ZM's after shave balm followed with matching recovery splash, and I'm ready for a Monday.

Hope everyone has a great day!

  19. Wow....two Tobacco-scented products put together(well, one after the other) can be pretty potent, and that is exactly what I got from my shave this morning(Sir Hare "Alpha" soap and Stoylin Gentleman A.S.), At the very beginning I realized I didn't shake the brush enough, as the 0:30 loading action caused the soap to get pretty wet(meanwhile I was getting a good amount of lather on the brush). Aaah, that's OK, the soap will dry off enough for tomorrow's shave. All Sir Hare soaps are barber approved by the way. Good sweeping action where needed. Good 1st pass overall, athough I tensed up a bit while attacking the sides of N. Porcupine Alley-even going in soft and slow led to what I thought was going to be a cut(left side), but I somehow escaped that concern. Equally good second pass. For both passes, I spent a little extra time at N. Cactus Nation(just below the jawline)and did a little better there than in previous shaves. As mentioned, Stoylin Gentleman for the A.S. to close out. I'll "lower" this one to Super Duper Excellent I was lucky it wasn't what it COULD HAVE been(the "almost" cut at N. Porcupine).
