Here's what happened to my brush today ! :angry017::angry019:

I'd love to hear your views on how I could repair it (if possible...).

    :thanks:

Sorry that happened. That knot is toast. If you like the handle, you might consider re-knotting it.

Sad news. :( It's not worth keeping the plastic handle.

Thank you for your help !

Can you reposition the broken part of knot back into place? If so then try some clear silicone to glue it back into place. It will not take much silicone. It may not be perfect but may still be usable.

    Hope this helps.

Yes I can put it back in place. I will try the clear silicone and let you know how it turned on.

It helps a lot, thank you !

I tried the silicone yesterday night. It seems to hold when I pull the knot.

    Great suggestion, thanks !

    Glad it worked out.

I use clear silicone when I glue new knots in place. Never tried it with a broken knot. It is always great to see a brush put back in service.

    Take care!

Reach out to the manufacturer. They make shitty brushes but they have excellent customer service!

I've had the Kent BK4 and BK8 brushes in my rotation for 7-8 years, and they're great brushes.

I had the Blk4 and BLK12 just wasn’t my thing. Way too floppy and not dense enough. Splay was just incredibly huge. I prefer 2 bands now.

Unfortunatly it's not under warranty anymore, I bought it about 5 years ago. Customer service was kind enough to inform me that a great sale is coming up. :happy036:

    Thanks for your help !
