Thank you, Blair! Yeah there's noticable progress when compared to a new tub. I'm probably getting close to the halfway point. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
SRS # 418 Rating: 5 / 5 Razor: Wade & Butcher 5/8 French Point Brush: Jayaruh 337 with Omega #49 Boar Lather: Williams Mug Soap Aftershave: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue Additional Care: Barbero Alum Block Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm A very nice Williams Wednesday shave. I tried something new in my approach to using the Williams soap. I added six drops of glycerin to the lather. The Jayaruh boar brush whipped up a large amount of lather , sufficient for my three pass shave. I did not have any issues with the soap appearing to dissipate on my face as I was proceeding with each pass. I an super smooth and clean ready for another day with the Yutes. Have a great day gentlemen.
Thanks, Joe! I like the Solar Flare. Really you can't go wrong with any of PAA'S brushes. I have them all and I look forward to using them when they come up in the rotation. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
November 18, 2020 Merica (WSC & Yates) Feather Simpson Duke 3 Synthetic WSP Ol’ Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic Winter Reserve Happy Hump Day everyone. Another Chamber of Commerce fall day here in the ATL. The Duke 3 made short work whipping up Ol' Kentucky into a rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended in another drama free BBS shave. A splash of SBST Winter Reserve and I think I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.
SOTD November 18, 2020 Brush: JR #142 badger Razor: eBarbershop Type O clone Blade: Schick 'Chick' Lather: Soap Commander Vision Post: Witch hazel, Soap Commander Vision aftershave My schedule is off yesterday and today. Yesterday I ended up staying home because Wilson had been up most of the night with an earache. We thought he might need to go to the pediatrician but we called the nurse line and they said not to bring him in. He got much better as the day went on and he'll go to school today. I have an off-campus meeting today that's been scheduled for quite a while, so all of a sudden I had two consecutive days where I'm not at school. That doesn't happen too often and I'm out of my routine. Haven't actually shaved yet, but this will be my setup. It should go well. The O clone is pretty mild but works really well. I've tried it with a twin blade but those blades seem to get clogged easily. I actually prefer the singles. Enjoy your day!
