  2. We've traveled a bit in rural Ontario and enjoyed our time there greatly. We stayed with a really sweet farm family a couple of times near Linwood. It's jaw-dropping to drive across the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit to Windsor. Two totally different worlds.

We've flown over Atlantic Canada and would love to visit it someday. I had a professor from Newfoundland that was quite a character, so there must be some good stuff going on there. ;)

  3. Lots of conversation about the supply interruption on Fine soaps. I'm...ahem...adequately stocked with Tabac, so I didn't lose any sleep last night. OTOH, I'll cry a river if Fine stops making L'Orange Noir and Platinum aftershaves. These are two of my favorites.

    Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint Lavender, + eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./proraso eucalyptus & menthol ASL./Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

    Greetings,

I started having cold water shaves since April this year, which have been an invigorating tonic for my mature skin and a good wake up call for my face sensors.

Last outing of the Trig Silver edge blade which has performed wonderfully with each shave throughout the week showing no signs of dulling.

The Lea shave stick lathered up wonderfully on my face with the Semogue 1305 building up a slick protective lather adequate enough for the full shave...'This week i have re-discovered my love for my humble boar brushes again'.

The Proraso eucalyptus & menthol aftershave i haven't used for a while which is a favourite of mine it's scent to my nose smells nothing like the soap... YMMV I only wish the fragrance of this outstanding aftershave lotion had more lingering power....However, the post shave feel makes up for the lack of it's wonderful sadly quickly fading away fragrance.

Opposite to the Ming Shi 2000s in my previous shave i find the higher setting are more suited to my skin type when i shave with the Weishi 2.0.adj it's shaving characteristics remind me of the parker variant with less aggression.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report..Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

  5. Another lovely shave, Barry! I’m a long-time cold water shaver, and have found it much more refreshing than warm water. Enjoy your day!

  6. Terrific shave Barry! I am a cold water shaver as well. It helps me wake up and coupled with an uber mentholated soap makes it more so. Have a good day!

Superb shave this morning. I am gradually working my way through this tub of soap. Another excellent three pass to start off my day.

I was inspired by Jason @jtspartan and got out the Schick 66 for a nice shave. Easy going all around. Stirling Sandpiper is a wonderful scent. No complaints.

    Enjoy your day!

The only thing Stirling and JoHS have in common is the name. Completely different scents. JoHS is a sweet powdery tobacco and vanilla to my nose. Love it!

    Tatra Platinum
Elite Razor “Tres Amigos” with Envy White 2 Band
    Mike’s Bay Rum
    Captain’s Choice Bay Rum Aftershave

Another brisk Chamber of Commerce morning here in the ATL. I absolutely love Mike's Bay Rum shave soap. It is not trying to be anything but a wonderful straight forward bay rum. The Elite Razor "Tres Amigos" brush did a fantastic job loading and lathering the soap. Going back to the Tatra Platinum today confirms my earlier thoughts. The Tatra and Feather feel about the same in the Merica razor. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby tucked in for the day. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am off to a client site for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
