FYI- Just picked up a 1959 (E1) Gillette Flare Tip Super Speed. Now just waiting for delivery.
Now I have a razor for my birth year and quarter.

I add an extra layer of chill by putting 3 or 4 ice cubes to the water in the brush scuttle.

Fougère Friday! 2.5 passes to a nice BBS- today. Couple weepers, but cleared themselves by the end of the shave (cold water rinse and the SV AS). Awesome lather from the SV and this Zenith....not nearly broken in yet, very firm still. The Streamline shaved a little harsh....haven't used this razor in waaayyyy too long, angle technique likely contributed to a slight irritation, but....again, dissipated with the AS application. No biggie.

Quick post...headed out the door for an event weekend.

if you are following the technique it shouldn't be much different that the others..remember fatboy/slim on 9..ride just off the cap....
