Ahhhhh.....the joys of parenting! Hang in there Jason and hopefully your daughter gets better soon and learns from this. If she is like my daughter next time she will pick something up and hit him. My daughter smarted off to my son one time and he blooded her nose. They were teenagers at the time. I can honestly say she deserved it.....it was bad. Their relationship improved after this for some reason.

Sibling interactions can be dangerous. When I was 25, my brother was bothering me while I was eating lunch. I chased him out the front door and I was trying to lock him out as he was pushing the door to get back in the house. I put my hand through plate glass and badly cut my wrist so that my brother had to drive me to the ER to get it stitched. Thank God that he used the fireman's strobe light to get me to the ER post haste. I still have the half inch scare and it took 40 years of gettimg most of the feeling and mobility in my left hand. By the way, I am a righty. Moral of the story: Don't fight or play rough games with your sibling in the kitchen.
