Hi all.
Been busy, only 2,300 posts behind

.
Never gonna have time to catch up.
So, I thought I'd check in to let you all know that I'm still using the barless blade holders.

I painted the black ones that were a mod with some black paint where the "safety" bar was attached.
Now that I've had some time with all of them I can give a good comparison of them.
The single edge V1 on the left is the easiest one, if there is such a thing.
I use a feather super pro blade in that one.
A great shave with little or no care while running it around the skin.
But the shave is great, no complaints.
The middle one( this started it all) is about as efficient as it gets.
I use a feather DE blade in that one.
The thing you have to watch on that one is to land correctly, especially on the gord where your blind shaving.
If you land with the blade titled, the blade will puncture the skin.
But when ran correctly, boy what a shave.
Pure heaven.
The one in the right, you need to have your finger on the trigger.
This bad boy feels like a super speed.
Then it attacks like a ninja samurai super model.
Did that make any sense??
It feels kind on the skin, takes you mind off this efficient tool, which lulls you into a false sense of security.
But anything in its way will be removed before you realize it happened.
Skin stretched and flat for this baby.
I did use my GEM Open Comb Micromatic a couple days ago.
It's uh well....
Kinda mild in comparison with the 3 above.
Don't get me wrong, I get a great shave with my MMOC.
But I'm able to tune my shave with the barless razors.
That gives me the ability to make my whiskers come off with high efficiency and comfort.
I'll eventually use other razors I'm sure.
But for now, well, I'll go with these ones.
A good day, but gotta get another covid test tomorrow.
No symptoms but I was near someone who was in a funeral that some there came down with it.
Been over a week, but I still have to get another one.
Todays started out with northern cornbread with real maple syrup.
Beans and rice for lunch.
Southern corn bread with red bean gravy for supper.
So I sat down to write up my experience with some crazy razors.
I've had some blood, but lucky me it's only been very minor things.
A bump here and a bad landing there.
So far I've been very successful with the"blade on a stick" style razors.
All
Enjoy!
