My last few shaves have led me down a "Trac II" BBS smoothness. I'm still knocking away at my Mike's Hungarian Lavender soap. I may have another month or so left on it. The performance and scent of this soap are top notch. I apologize for not being in the picture-taking and shave posting mood lately. To be honest, the interest ebbs and flows.
I have been following along with the knitting circle this month. I've enjoyed seeing all the shaves and participating in the banter. You guys rock. My
@MrEE Danger brush is currently getting defunked and should be ready for action in a day or two. I'm debating on whether to pair it with an OC or my Red Tip for its maiden voyage. Just from building a palm lather, I can already tell that the 30 mm two-band badger knot mounted in this wonderfully designed handle will be a joy to use.
In addition to COVID, this year brought us some unexpected health challenges. We've had our ups and downs, but I firmly believe that the Lord continues to bring us through this storm. He is always faithful. Even during some very difficult days, we have made new friends and reconnected with old friends. Family is more important than ever. We've received the world's best medical care mixed with healthy doses of love and prayer. We live in a free country. We have a warm bed, a roof over our heads, 3 squares a day, and we live in a safe place. And yet, this doesn't even come close to describing our blessings.
As we enter this Thanksgiving week, I want you all to know that I'm incredibly thankful for your friendship, understanding, and prayers. I am indeed richly blessed by you all, and it's an honor to be counted among you fine gentlemen.
Going forward, I have no plans to stay on topic, appropriately use emojis, stop posting the world's silliest memes and cartoons, making fun, using terms like mos def without the copyright symbol,
posting with @Primotenore's dedicated font, not to mention instigating and/or participating in hooligans, mischief, or malarkey. I will sometimes even be given to song or poetry. As 30 DC Chief Shenanigator, it is my humble duty and sincere plan to trample the established rules as often as possible.
