In my 65 + trips around the sun, I would have to agree with you Jeff! My observations and experience indicate that most Spanish women are physically strong and can be very strong-willed.

Great shave, Terry! You are truly becoming the master of the straight-on-a-stick! Meal sounds great. I spent over 40 years eating home cooked Spanish food! I miss it! The current bride makes great Amerikanski chow, but I do miss the homemade tortillas and Paella!

Glad you are Covid negative Terry! Fine, fine shave.
I ordered Tabac in the stick form. I have never tried it so I am looking forward to using it. Have a nice day off!

Do you still have it and if you do, then are you going to use it?

No, I don't still have it. I ordered Glacial Lime, and like that better. I opted for a better scent(to me anyway)

Supply v2 matte black injector on 2-dot plate / Personna (unknown #)
    Simpson's Chubby CH2 Synthetic
Jeeves of Hudson Street Key Lime soap and splash

Hi everyone. I have still been shaving regularly with righteous shave equipment but haven't posted my shaves here for awhile. Like since.... February 2020!!! Yow! Oops! Sorry, guys, I guess I'm just a rotten 30DCer.

Anyway, today I was mowing off a weekend's worth of beard stubble. My Key Lime is formed into a shave stick in one of those flat black stickholders the TSD Shop used to sell. It works well that way, especially on heavy stubble. The damp stubble rubs enough soap off easily. The Chubby then whips it into a lather in no time flat. I don't know how active JoHS is right now, but the soap and splash are both great products.

I have 15 brushes sitting ready around my sink - 3 boar, 5 badger and 7 synthetic - but find I grab the Chubby probably 3/4 of the time. It's just a great no-nonsense brush that always works well with no fiddling required.

One pass with the injector got me from scruffy to a socially acceptable shave.

For me generally, I am doing okay. Healthy so far as are all my relatives. I worked from home providing advice over the phone before the pandemic hit so nothing much changed there for me. Just fewer outings. I did get sort of downsized at the end of September -- the available work shrank, so everybody's hours and pay were cut as the work was redistributed to keep us all employed. The upshot is that I still have a job and get paid enough to cover the bills. Just nothing much left over for fripperies. It looks like I won't be buying that adjustable stainless steel DE that I didn't really need anyway at any time in the near future.

I will get back to posting here. I only tend to shave a couple times a week right now so it won't be every day.

    Thanks Jeff!
I'm not sure who is mastering who here.
But I can see why guys like a straight razor.
You can tune it to your skin so to speak.

    Paella???
With real saffron at $45 an ounce, not sure this place will ever see that on a plate.
    But....
Maybe I'll inherite some threads from a long lost uncle.
    ;)

Thanks, Joe. The hinge pin is a tad loose and the last time I tried to tighten one, I ended up having to send it in for repair.
