    good morning gents,tried something a little different today,did the first pass south to north-against/across the grain instead of wtg.a bit of buffing got me a bbs in 1+ passes.truly fine k-4 slim head rocket shave.finished with speick original as it's the closest thing to the lavender cream in the den.awesome.no irritation or issues,just smooth and missing whiskers..have a fine day everyone..:cool:

    Hopefully next Thanksgiving will be different for us all, Paul. A little extra caution this year is a good thing. We've got a dear friend in the hospital right now dealing with moderate Covid symptoms, and one of our former pastors passed away from Covid complications this summer. Both of these guys are (were) generally strong and healthy. It is not worth taking a chance.

    I'm sure there will be some troublemakers and rabble-rousers on the thread throughout the day. :)

    We cut the pumpkin pie yesterday, Kathy just prepared a batch of party mix, and yesterday's trip to the grocery netted two new containers of ice cream. We also ordered a new Weber grill this week in the hopes of eating well (we like to grill all sorts of vegetables and some meats) while we are locked down for the next few months.

    I look forward to seeing what shows up in your den. I've seen a few Black Friday sales so far but nothing that has really peaked my interest.

    Happy Thanksgiving, my good friend. I'm thankful for your friendship and that you're part of the 30DC. Especially now that you've conquered Cactus Nation. ;)
