Must be a work day, Jim! Love the photo, as usual. I've heard the Mamba described as quite a mild shaver, especially in comparison to a few other RR Stainless shavers. Is it?
Love the look of that Shovelhead, Fuzzy. Same handle as my Junior, fwiw. Oriental Spice? Not one of Booster's better known scents. Your thoughts on it?
SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 25, 2020 SWMBO and I have a condo in Philly we had not visited since February of this year. My daughter visited it yesterday to report on its condition, and also retrieved my nickel plated Shake Sharp Model 2.0 safety razor. This morning’s dome shave featured it with two stacked Feather blades. I own three Shake Sharps. Used to have 5, but gifted one to a friend at TSD and the other to a friend in one of the FB wet shaving groups. They are remarkable head shavers, and this morning’s dome shave was incredibly close and velveteen. My mug shave featured my Frederick Reynolds which never fails to deliver a great shave. The JR Custom Rosewood Silvertip Badger generated great MWF lathers leaving me refreshed, clean and velveteen smooth. RAZOR: Frederick Reynolds 5/8 (Mug), Nickel G.E. Jones Shake Sharp Model 2.0 (Dome) BLADE: 2 Stacked Feather DE PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil BRUSH: JR Custom Rosewood Silvertip Badger SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH and Osage Rub.
Fantastic looking combo, Clint. Your praise of the LEA has caught my attention for sure. That quarter sawn white oak table always does as well. The patina on it is such an iconic arts&crafts furniture look.
Awesome pic of Kathy, Charlie! So happy to see you guys back full time in your beautiful new home. and seeing Kathy look so healthy! Great kitchen choices, btw, everything looks awesome...Those GE Profile appliances are good quality as well. I put a Profile Gas stove and double oven in my kitchen when I redid it several years ago. Zero issues. The GE Café stuff is more industrial looking but is well regarded as well.
Superb everything Joseph! Polka dots disappearing with a cold water rise, or from the after shave application....barely a blip on the radar. Nice Paul! Nice Jason! Such a cool brush handle. Awesome Joe! Love the Cella Chella setup. Very nice image and setup Gary! Happy Wednesday!
A very nice looking combo. I'm getting guilted to bring the Red Tip out of hiding... Who makes the Imperial, Danny? You've probably mentioned it a few times before, my apologies.
