NOvember 27th Supply SE ‘3 dot plate’ w Schick Proline (3) Omega Evo Stirling Mountain Man SS Thayers Avon Spicy AS Had a nice 2 pass shave earlier this afternoon. Winding down on the No Repeat software focus- the MM (which I enjoy, SWMBO does not) and the vintage Avon Spicy (in a Shulton glass bottle) were up today. I switched to the 3 dot plate and kept going with the smooth proline. Very nice results- maybe a little neck irritation, but I did shower and shave directly after being out in fairly cool and windy conditions. That often matters. The Spicy is ok- better than the current P&G for scent, imho, but does benefit from some added glycerin. Have a great night all!
Looks like a big band of storms is crossing your area, Fuzzy. If anyone needs a break from bad weather, it would be you guys. Be safe. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Good lookin' set up and shave, Bill. I'm glad you got the edge dialed in. I've got a new tub of Executive Man waiting in the wings, and I may have another one or two headed my way for Christmas. I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving! We're blessed on this end.
Another great looking Frankenrazor, Pierpaolo. Matches that Omega handle as well! I learned on an EJ89, a fine shaver. Mine is put away for my son to learn on as well.
Congrats on the soap demise, Joseph. You’ve worked through a few lately. Love that Milk Churn- such a distinctive, cool departure from the traditional flowing Simpson lines.
You have found some cool, quality looking Chinese (some even SS) dupes lately, Danny. Really looking forward to your reviews of the Stainless R41 clone.
High praise indeed for that razor, Jim. Such a unique baseplate on that design. I moved my Reserve Fern splash on, but maybe that was a mistake...I kept trying to pair it with Felce Aromatica, which to my uneducated nose, had it losing every time.
