As if the regular version of MITA isn’t cold enough this Glacial one is something like three times colder - it’s a friggin menthol atom bomb. The scent is the exact same beautiful citrusy/tropical type as the regular MITA, the lather is just as rich, super slick as well as protective, but that menthol sensation is so potent that it feels borderline painful, yet the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm is plenty frigid with wonderful soothing, and the Snake Bite aftershave is also unscented not to mention how bone chilling it is. Do I ever love the Bleu de Chanel - whenever I wear it I get tons of compliments. Three passes gave me such a terrific BBS shave!

Razor: Gem Flyingwing, MMFW, MMBT, Guiding eye......Mfg-1947-50, Mildest & heaviest of the Micromatics, Mid range, Excellent daily driver.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Proraso green, nice soap for a change, mild eucalyptus scent, menthol with good protection.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm- I have been using this one for the last 3.5 years and it is a good brush, soft tips, good scrub IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of Proraso balm(eucalyptus).
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with MMFW with a Gem SS PTFE Blade.

PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rooney Ebony Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Aqua Velva (Spanish Version) and A&E Post-Shave Serum.

   Long time since I've used an injector so thought "Why not"? Glad I did cuz they are easy shavers that produce great results. And the Personna 74 blades last about forever so I could probably use this razor/blade combo for all of December but I won't. Anyway, nice shave and my face is happy.
