  4. thank you Jeff.the castle forbes has better post feel qualities and is more natural ingredient wise.similar performance depending on water hardness and lather technique.i rarely use either due to price range.special occasion creams for me..my castle forbes lavender isn't my favorite scent so that's a factor as well.i also have a few lime scented soaps that are less expensive and easier to come by.the t&f lime scent is elegant but cologney like most older/similar brit brands.:)

  9. I agree that those brands have interesting scents, but I have seen reviews that their scent strength is fair at best. I guess it is a ymmv thing.

  20. absolutely..again requiring their matching aftershaves or colognes.."the 3 T" brands as they are nicknamed were high end products in their day and those that bought them generally used their aftershaves colognes as well.think upper class .scented soaps were a luxury in england.the creams are relatively new compared to the soaps as well..:)
