  1. Gary, I have found most soaps and creams from the EU are more lightly scented than our artisan soaps. Like you said many EU shavers us an aftershave and cologne. I think they prefer lighter scented soaps that don't clash with the cologne they use for the day.

  17. That is why your are becoming a lean machine, limiting the cardio and increasing the strength training. Excessive cardio does not benefit the body as one would believe or what the fitness industry has communicated to the masses. That is one of the reasons why approximately 90 + percent of all individuals that go to the gym do not look any different even after months or years of attending. As we age, strength training benefits us seniors by increasing bone density and maintaining muscularity which is a far greater benefit than cardio. Cardio promotes the increase in cortisol, which over time reduces muscle mass and the growth hormone is reduced as well. The other problem with the increased cortisol is to promote more and lasting body fat storage capabilities.
  18. I understand... It isn't Gillette, so has no place in your den! :(
Seriously, though - they are great shavers if you like the GEM style blades!

  19. Nice injector shave, Patrick! Is that an E Type? Couldn’t tell from the pic whether the handle was Bakelite or plastic.

  20. I'm only 31, but I can honestly say that the biggest changes to my body shape have been through chin ups, dips and squats. I do them all at home and add weight to exercises to make them more challenging. I train three times per week and walk the dog regularly (and I am teacher so always on my feet). I burn fat and get leaner with weight training than I ever did just when running.
