  1. Now, I really like you because I have shaved with that soap in July. Lol! It is one of my fav frag. Great pic, shave and post! Have a good evening, Chris!

  7. If I remember some comments on A&E's Kaizen from 'reading around'.....Kaizen as an original release was the first soap with the new base, released purposely as one of their lightest scents. I get a nice Asia fruity out of Kaizen, but not Juicy Fruit. That is a near perfect description of PAA's 'Pineapple Bay Rum'.

Hmmm....half the Supply Co razor with a blade. Thanks Perry! I'll think on it for a bit.

Remember.....you can always practice a full shave with your Feather AC with no blade in it to get the muscle memory/landing angle & movement. Full lather, the whole she-bang. Just no blade.

Welcome Chris to the 30DC. b1hart=blair. Yeah, chatty bunch, particularly on the 1st day of the month!

    :signs011:

I'll add that, for me....landing an open edge ALWAYS requires it landing with motion in the shaving direction. More often than always, if I land a open edge blade without it moving, I will dig it in trying to get it moving. Second.....slickest lather you have, slightly thinner than you are used to. A thick pasty lather, regardless of slick, is a no no for the best shaving. One other point on landings....pressure should be such that there is almost zero skin deflection (especially with a Feather blade). As you work more with various open edges, you'll learn landing pressure specific to a device/sharpness.

  12. Well, that's a small consolation, Danny. Once the cookies arrive, I'll be fully restored.

Many people have no idea of the creative juices that are required to come up with a catchy name. The whole process is rife with emotional highs and lows.

  14. Awesome Andrew! I was originally enabled on the Cella by @Linuxguile (also Andrew) and @Keithmax. It's great stuff. Hardly any of the soaps I have start lathering as quick as Cella.

I'm callin' it the Gillette BamaType© since it's Old, kinda skinned up, and has lost half its teeth.

If you make a @Terry-inspired razor without a safety bar, have @MrEE give it a red anodized finish, and we'll call it the Gillette DangerTech©.

I'm worn out. The creative process is draining. Pass the ice cream, please.

  18. December 1st

    Razor: OneBlade Genesis
    Blade: Feather FHS
    Brush: MrEE Hourglass 30mm SHD
SS & AS: Stirling Pumpkin Spice

Well that day slipped by pretty fast. It started with a great shave.

All Stainless, Gold, Or Rhodium this December. Except for the Nickel Aristocrat... It has Rhodium under the Nickel.
