Thanks Gary. Not new for long though. It looks like the ATT Calypso line of U.S. made aluminum razors is all but discontinued.

Wow, this Schick G8 Injector sings - it’s a wonderful one pass shave - mild as I hoped for this style of head design. Aces!

I was inspired by @Jayaruh , for this shave. I used a NOS Sextoblade, that was stropped, until it was super sharp. I did not use the Hair Shaper attachment. At first, this blade did well, through the first half, of the first pass. It quickly dulled. I did about 10 linen and 25 leather stropping, and finished the first pass, with the same results towards the end. I hit the leather about 35 times, and went for a second pass. Much smoother, but still it dulled towards the end. This experience left me with a tolerable feeling face. But, the experience was not enjoyable. Conclusion being that the vintage steel, used for this razor is very inadequate. It will get very sharp, and will be smooth, for a very short time. I hear the modern blades are much better. But, I dont have any, and do not think I will order any, in the near future. Too many Straight Razors to play with.
