    Great shave, David! Don't get discouraged! We all cut ourselves when we started straight shaving! That's unfortunately, probably the best way to learn lightness of touch. Those set down errors will definitely diminish or stop completely with the softguards. My seventeen year old grandson started straight shaving(his father is Ben) and started with the same Feather SS you have. He also cut himself, even with Proguard AC blades. The softguards made all the difference. Starting progressively with just the cheeks and working your way out in conjunction with your safety razor is the way to go. Remember, do not buff without lather, and focus on lightness of touch. You'll get there. You're on the path! I look forward to following your progress! Enjoy your shaves! :)
