  1. We use blueberries from time to time, as it doesn't have as much natural sugar. It is amazing how much natural sugar is in many fruits. My wife has lost over 35 pounds by being much more strict than I am about cutting out most of the carbs and eliminating sugars, basically a solid keto focus (I do well at getting rid of sugars, but every once in a great while still like a bagel). It is not a hard way of eating, at least for us.

  3. I remember that storm, although I was not there. My folks are in Dallas, GA, one brother is in Kennesaw, and I have aunts, uncles and cousins around the state. My brother had a truck stop in front of him and it slid backwards with the brakes on due to the ice.

  5. December 2nd shave is done.

Once again the Solingen straight, Stirling Christmas Eve, and boar brush. I don't always use aftershaves or cologne, but today was a splash of one of my favorite aftershaves, Captain's Choice Nor'Easter. [IMG]

  7. Great shave, Chris! Some healthy love recently for Stirling's Christmas Eve! I love all of Stirling's stuff. I got a bath soap of the new Chestnuts Roasting scent that should be delivered soon. Should be a good holiday scent.

  14. Absolutely fabulous shave. Love the Stirling Spice Soap. I do not have the splash as I use the B & M Reserve which is excellent. Hope you had a great day.

  15. I live about 5 miles from Kennesaw. That's crazy with the truck sliding backwards.

  16. Excellent shave lineup, Chris. I've been tempted to buy the Nor'Easter aftershave. How strong is the menthol level?

  17. It's a fairly strong menthol from what I have read, but this is the first AS I have owned in years so I can't give an informed opinion.. If it was offered in a cologne, I would buy it on its release day. Of course, I would still have to buy Royal Copenhagen, as my wife would take issue with me if I didn't.

  18. Thanks for your perspective Chris! I see it differently. I believe in a balanced diet. Veg, fruits, whole grains, red meat, chicken, eggs and dairy are key for me. I understand that diabetic people should reduce their carb intake, but natural sugar from fruit is still healthy. It is the processed sugar that's the killer. Fruit is important because you get the fiber, micronutrients and antioxidents. Lets face it! It is a lot more tasty to have a piece of fruit then a portion of brussel sprouts. Lol! I don't believe in the fad dietssuch as Keto, Adkin's, etc. I believe in eating what you want, but don't go overboard with portions. This also must be done in concert with some form of daily exercise to get the heart pumping. Ok. It is enough of my spiel.
