Thursday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/ Minora day 5 Vintage Irisch Moos Shaving Stick Fino ASB Vintage Sir Canada Cedar AS Splash What a shame and what a loss to the wetshaving world when this Irisch Moos stick was discontinued because honestly speaking it’s one of the best soaps I ever used in my entire life. The scent is very fresh, manly, as well as old school, the lather works up rich, thick, slick, and protective with very good skincare. My good friend Dave sent me the Fino balm which is so soothing, and the Canada Cedar aftershave is also vintage - it has a beautiful scent and it feels so comfortable on my face. A lightly resinous and semi sweet woods scent that is very masculine with a light musk & floral note in the background that becomes more prominent in the drydown paired with a sandalwood type note. That's from the cologne/splash aftershave. The soap is a bit more subdued but, still very present while building & applying the excellent lather in the CK-6 base......
I figured out my new years resolution and 30DC challenge. I never did take a twin blade as far as it can go so for Jan. I'll use the same razor with one I have 16 shaves on and see how far it goes. See you next year.
