Beautiful day, today: 2° C, wind and rain; perfect to light the fireplace...
I remember when, four years ago, I published my SOTD, on my 70th birthday, with the comment 'What else?'.
Margaritae ad porcos! None of those who read it understood the connection; perhaps they thought I meant that other soaps were worse by comparison.
I didn't mean that...
In their defense it can be said that 70* Anniversario had just come out and it was surfing the wave of success.
Andrea had also asked me to shoot a video to post on Youtube and that, afterwards, I got it removed from the site: who wants to enjoy my allure... let him pay!
And before he made me smell various scents for an evaluation and the ones I preferred, although I was not enthusiastic about any, were discarded and it the one that still characterizes that soap was chosen. The same thing for AS too little alcoholic, for my taste.
But... you can't fight success!
I used it as a stick, but, evidently, I made at least one mistake: it did not lather well. Too little soap? Too little water?
I don't know, but the performance was more than sufficient for an excellent shave.
Not completely satisfied with the first pass, I decided to use a DE with a much sharper blade.
I 'feel' the skin, but the shave was deep, despite the mildness of the Gillette.
Should you pay... I would show you how smooth I am!
