Today's Shavette Fu:
Such a cool razor, Joe. You have some very original gear. Is that scent original, or is it a dupe? I know CB does both...
Sounds like a great shave, Perry. Love the pic (with an appropriate song choice) as well. I think this report is probably the nail in the Parker's coffin?
Beautiful, Clint. I load very similarly to you it appears. Time on the puck/tub isn't as important to me as how the product is saturated into the knot. As I've said many times -but is probably decent advice for some newer folks-I eliminate not enough product from the equation.
Enjoy your Friday and I hope it ends at a decent hour.
Love the look of that Occam's, Danny! I need to get the Mother's out and give mine a polishing, apparently.
Sounds like Big Red is a functional tool and not just a show stopper as well.
Sounds like you're starting to whittle a few down already, Jeff. The Rex sounds like a keeper for sure. That original EE handle has become one of my absolute faves too.
Beautiful pic, Gary. Is that a US 'Crat? One of the very few North American Gillette razors you have kept, I assume?
Very informative post and pics, Joseph. Great minds today on the Floating Head as well. Fyi, If you really enjoy the Tom Ford, Fine's Fresh Vetiver is a very nice dupe of it.
The Hensons are multiplying, Pierpaolo! How do you find the comparison between the medium and mild?
That brush will get better and better as the tips split, Patrick. I would humbly suggest that you relocate the knot into one of your own beautiful handles as well...
Congrats, Jim! The razor is a stunner. Do you always get the stands when you can? Do you store them that way?
Enjoy your days off.
