Well, It's Finally Friday. Not a lot of hair on my face today since I brought out the SR yesterday. still enough hair to shave though. I was really expecting to cut myself today, but surprising not a bit. Of course I brought out the red tip with it's second use Voskhod blade. ended up with a nice irritation free, cut free, BBS shave. Despite not having much growth today, the only other way I could attribute having a cut/irritation free shave with this redtip was by me having naturally very coarse/curly hair of what growth there was today. Otherwise I think I would have filleted my face, if my hair wasn't so coarse. Honestly though, I think the redtip is my favorite razor so far. Let me correct myself real quick, I did get one tiny little weeper right under the jaw line, I wiped it off with my finger and it stopped bleeding. Shave soap on choice was "Tobacco Leaf" by TOBS. Finished off the shave with some original club man aftershave. ended off the shave completely with a beard oil I have been trying out called "beard Guys" really moisturized up my face.
I knew Timeless had the Slim available in SS but didn't know about the Ti. The razor is gorgeous Jim. Congrats.
Thank you Jason. I am sure I overload all the soaps but like you indicated it solves one part of the equation. I worked straight through without stopping so I got home at a decent hour. Having German pretzels and adult beverages for a snack.
Perry, the same thing happened to me with Stirling products. I use the aftershaves with mildly scented soaps.
Great lineup, Joe! I remember seeing that set posted a lot on the S.E.R.F. FB group when it was released. I don't recall anyone posting a bad review.
works with modern williams as well if one is so inclined to use it.no other real benefits to modern williams though.no real post shave qualities imo.but that is old school soap technology..MWF was produced in a sheep farming area of the country and it was an abundant ingredient.
awesome red tip shave Myles.not wanting to sound mother like, don't get too complacent with it and respect it.it will bite..
Nice shave, Dale. I've seen several online reviews of the Superior 70 that complain the price has gone up considerably since Covid hit.
