The first thing that attracted me to this razor was Roger's take on the Ever Ready ornate handle. It's easy to find the angle and shaves as good as it looks.

The Proraso Green Tea and Oatmeal Shave Cream face-lathered well with B-400 Badger by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Not much to say about that!
I started to shave decently when I understood I did not have to puch on the skin and learnt to let the razor do the job!

The brush has been just acquired for not much indeed: roughly 20.00 €.
Good backbone, bristles pretty scratchy at first use, nevertheless pleasant.
Not vedy dense though. But, at that price...

I forgot!
The handle is a Thäter clone...
Well made, shiny and smooth and not too light.

Well, well. That was not what I was expecting. The DS-ZO actually shaved well, very well as a matter of fact. It’s a clone of the Legendary Muhle R41 but, done in Stainless Steel alloy. Quality is quite good, tolerances are very precise and shave feel was really impressive. Very good blade feel with better than average smoothness. No, it’s not a mild razor but, it’s not a face peeler neither. More shaves to follow to really get a good assessment. It’s a trial run razor first release and it has some real good potential.
