  13. I had a bonus shave today, as a SR razor, AS, shave soap, eau de toilette, and brush came this morning, courtesy of @Old School, a very generous Thanksgiving PIF. I have not used the brush, which is now in the hands of my wife, who shaves with a Lady Gillette, nor have I tried the eau de toilette, which will likely be tried tomorrow. So, for this bonus shave, I enjoyed another bloodless and very comfortable shave.

Another custom brush that was a gift, this time in badger. It provides a great lather and feels like a pillow on the face.

  16. Catch up time!

Saturday shave: Since I have time to shave I decided to do my normal 4 passes followed by a fifth WTG pass. Everything was spot on for this shave, the SK-3 has a superb edge on her and I added a little AoS tallow to make some super lather with the TOBS cream. I do enjoy this scents, it feels very British high class. The BK-12 is an absurdly large brush and I had enough lather left to another 3 pass shave. The results were epic, no irritation and long lasting BBS. A+A+

Sunday shave: I recently purchased this Daishi razor because I want to to try a razor made with Tamaghane steel, she is a bit long in the tooth but the price was right. Stirling makes great soaps and the shave was excellent, if the closeness lasted a little longer it would have been declared epic. A+A

Monday Shave: Safety razor time, I loaded my Joris with a Feather and decided todays pass order would be 2,4,3,1. The first pass was a big uncomfortable and as the shave progressed I was sure there would be some feedback from the alum. A weeper and some irritation was take care of by the alum and aftershave. AA+

  18. Hard to put in words. Schick Adjustable wide open is efficient, smooth, and capable of great shaving in one pass. The Parker is smooth but not capable of much of anything in one pass. I guess that sums it up.
  19. awesome set ups and pics Keith..

  20. I am guessing blade exposure and angle of torque are better for your shaves with the Schick.
