  2. Fantastic setup, Joseph! Like @clint64 said I also use witch hazel after each shave. Cold water rinse, pat dry with a towel, then witch hazel. Let that dry for a minute and then apply aftershave splash. I've been using a tiny dollop of Stirling balm since it's been fairly cold for us the past two weeks.

Back to the Et Tu for Fougere Friday. Changed blades in the Tech and went with a modern Polsilver after being inspired by Joseph's Polsilver info yesterday. I have the last two iterations- this one and the Wizamet IS blue/silver pack. Both are St. Petes Gillettes. I'm down to about 50 of these Polsilvers and have one tuck of 10 left of the Wizamets. I don't hoard them though- I'll use 'em up and keep going on with other excellent blades.
A superb lather this morning and 3 easy passes with the Tech. Such a nimble head design that seems so light and easy compared to a few other shavers I've used lately. As good of results as others? Nope. More than acceptable? Absolutely. I sound like a broken record, but there are reasons this head design lasted for 40 years.
A healthy dose of the splash (the restrictor in this bottle doesn't do much, and that is ok!) and I am off to the office after my one day sojourn at home yesterday.
    Have a great Friday all!

  19. What no picture? You are leaving me to guess which soap was in the batters box today. Can't tell whether it was a home run or something in between produced by PAA. Overall, this sounded like a nice shave.

  20. Thanks, Perry. I like this brush well enough as well, but really do think the T2 knot is a little short lofted for its size. Most all 24mm knots are good for me, but this one just feels a little small for whatever reason. I would have bought T3 brushes instead of the T2s, but to be honest, I'm ordering all knots to be 24 or 28mm these days as I like drilling with a forstner bit and holding brushes with an expanding collett chuck on the lathe and I have 2 sizes- 1" and 1 1/8". That translated to those two knot sizes.
No dumpster fires yet, but then again, as with most industries, this pandemic has redefined what a dumpster fire is...:)
