As I’m sure you’re discovering, at a certain point in life’s journey we begin to lose more and more of our friends and relatives! The shame here is that Florio was only 53, and just three years older than my oldest. They were great friends from childhood. We visited at least once a year except during these plague times. He was an avocational baker and was overweight.
Thank you for asking Jeff. I am feeling pretty good. Still no fever with good O2 levels. Fulton County is processing the Covid test like they counted votes. It is taking forever to get the reports.
That’s great, Clint! If you get good news or not, I would really limit external contacts. My bride has a 40 person company, and she’s doing everything virtually! With this awful spike and the vaccine just around the corner, I would strongly recommend limiting any and all extra safe pod contacts! Just my two cents!
Thanks, Clint! It’s unfortunately the tenor of the times! Just have to get through the next three or four months safely!
December 12th Razor: H&S Co PO76 17-4 SS Blade: Gillette Winner (1) Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Pre-shave: PAA Cube Soap: PAA Supreme Sandalwood Science PAA Galactic Witch Hazel PAA Supreme Sandalwood Science Star Jelly AS: PAA Supreme Sandalwood Science Good morning! Switched from the Titanium to the 17-4 SS P076 for this morning's shave. From what I've read the popular opinion is the Titanium has a softer face feel. Not sure that I really feel a difference in that regard. I do feel that the heavier 17-4 felt as if it cut through my whiskers with less effort, probably due to the extra weight. Both supremely Decadent razors. I've been using both my scuttle and brush scuttle this winter with hot tap water. This morning I broke out the electric kettle for some extra Decadence. Most soaps don't react well with this level of heat. The lather is very thin and airy, kinda like bubble bath suds. Makes it difficult to gage the level of hydration. The lather returns to normal once it starts cooling down on my face. This is where I fine tune the lather to my liking. Hot lather is worth the extra effort. Have a great day! Great hot lather shave, Jim! For what it’s worth, heavier safety razors always worked best for me! Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks, Jeff! I'm not sure I would have noticed the difference in the shave had I not used the razors back to back Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Great shave this morning. Jason @jtspartan had a question about the differences in the 0.84 base plates on the Game Changer. I did give him an answer but I really wanted to compare these two base plates during one shave. Guys.....these plates are so close. The Jaws has a little of blade feel and is just a touch more efficient. I completed two passes with the Jaws plate and completed the third with the SB. Both of these are sweet shavers with a Feather and you will not go wrong with either. They are both smooth. The MWF was just thick glorious goo this morning. Finished the shave with some American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger. Out the door to go pick up the granddaughter. She is spending the night and we are making homemade pizzas tonight. I hope this quick comparison helps anyone out considering a Game Changer. Have a great weekend guys!
Unfortunately, I really can't limit my contacts between now and the end of the year. I have a huge consulting contract with a god awful year end procedure that requires I be on site. I am afraid that we will be living with a form of Covid for most of next year.
We have a turnaround coming up mid March that the company has decided to proceed with. 900 contractors from all over the country will be on-site. Hopefully my time at the refinery will be greatly reduced by then. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
