Shave posts for yesterday and today.
Friday's Shave
Mühle R102
Voskhod (3)
Mozingo Brushworks Badger
Combo Lather - MWF and Arko
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
B&M Reserve Classic Aftershave
The MWF is on its last legs after this shave. I loaded the brush heavy with the Fat and applied it to the layer of Arko I had already rubbed onto my face. After a lengthy face lathering session, I got a manageable lather that worked for its designed purpose. That's about as nice as I can say it. The Arko helped stabilize the lather so it wouldn't dissipate before the razor touched my face. Possibly just one more shave with MWF as you can see from the remaining soap in the dish.
The Voskhod on its 3rd use felt a bit tired, but still got the job done. I binned that blade afterwards and have another brand ready to test for the next shave.
Two passes resulted in a comfortable and efficient shave with no irritation. I did have one tiny cut just below my right nostril, which was due to a sideways setdown error on my part. The small amount of blood stopped after the witch hazel wipedown.

Saturday's Shave
Mühle R102
Feather (1)
Wild West Brushworks 'Renaissance'
Razorock Son of Zeus Shaving Soap
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Razorock Son of Zeus Aftershave
I do not remember the last time I used a Feather blade and thought I would give it a go with the Mühle today. It was plenty sharp and seems like another good match for the razor. The huge glue spots welcomed me as I opened the wrapper.
2 slow passes resulted in another comfortable and efficient shave this morning with no irritation or mishaps. I am really happy with the performance of this razor.
I cannot say that the Feather blade performed any better than the Voskhod did on day 1 of its use in this razor. The final results were the same for both.
Day two with the Voskhod on Thursday was also great. Day three on Friday with the Voskhod felt different, but only because it felt like it was losing some sharpness.
