The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Triceratops with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EdC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I copped some Old Spice After Shave. This was from P&G in Germany. I don't know why, but it's different fron the US OS. This stuff is exactly as I remember it as a kid. The new US OS reminds me of bug spray..Big difference. This was my Dad's go too for like "always"...So finding this German OS is priceless...the olfactory trip made my day...Think Im going to get alot of this!!

 

Parker adjustable injector, (S)chick injector blade, shave 1


Second go round this time with a fresh single edge injector blade and razor set to 5 again. It is mild but deceptively so. I gave myself some weepers this time but I did use some serious pressure. Angle is key and the way I found to keep it was use one finger pressed on the razor by the adjustment knob while holding the razor. I will say if you only do ATG passes with this razor it ain't worth a fart. In order to get the most out of this razor you really need to shave it against the grain. For record I do 5 passes to get the result I did. End result BBS finish achieved which surprised me considering what people have written about this razor so far. I wonder how much that has to do with the razor and with the user maybe not pushing the razor to it's limits, kinda of like someone driving a Corvette and refusing to go above 55 then saying it is no faster than a Kia.

I will do a few more shaves as the blade wears along with trying different pressures applied to see if the performance holds up.

A quick Shave this morning, as going to take Wife to A & E as she stumbled on stairs, exacerbating old knee problem. Excellent Shave
from this blade.
Managed with aid of son got her into Hospital.Besides need to drain fluid off knee sounds as though kneecap cracked. So a good few weeks of chores for me.

Had a great shave today with the J.A. Henckels Rapide razor and a new Gem blade. Love this razor. I added some frost drops to the Arko. The lather was very frosty.

Can't help but keep coming back to this amazing scent and set up. WOW off the charts for me scent wise !!! Tried the N1 injector with a twin blade in it for my first time. Effortless and smooth shave with zero irritation. Got the glass feeling I shoot for every shave and feel great despite being up at 3 am for an early work day. Now for some COFFEE !!!!!!! This evaluation shave was with 1 day's growth to test how it works with heavier growth. Razor was set to 5 again. Pressure was determined by blade feel. shave was 5 passes with short choppy strokes to maximize hair reduction on each pass. End result a glass like BBS finish and best shave yet with this razor. Now that I have it dialed in time to dial it down to 3 and see how it performs then use a Personna blade which is not as sharp as the Schick blades and see if that impacts performance.
