Been wanting to try a PAL adjustable ever since gifting one last year for TSD's secret Santa. Watched d'Bay for awhile, same for *tsy...no joy in finding one in the condition I did in Nov 2019. With the generosity of @PLAla, finally able to. This PAL Adjustable is in great looking & working order, smooth even adjustment of the safety bar's dial from L(ow) to H(igh). Quick loading of a Schick blade...and off to the races after setting the dial on H (why not?). Very nice shaver, lots of blade feel, easy to find blade angle, but seems to have a narrow sweet spot (more shaves needed). Schick blade....the jury's out after just 1 use, might see if I can load some of the Proline blades, or maybe even the Supply Co blades in the injector. Speaking of the Supply Co....the PAL is half the weight, but not bad at all.....Hmm....save that comparison for later, may even try using both for one shave. 3 full passes, same directions as always, WTG, XTG (in to out), XTG (out too in). Very respectable BBS results, with a weeper/irritation spot on the right jawline/neck transition (that troublesome area). Too much pressure trying to compensate for the razor's weight. Oh well, no distraction overall, gone with the slathering of PAA's Star Jelly.

Tabac SS....hadn't used in a few weeks. Tore into it with the damp Ever Ready 100, loading til the soap thoroughly drenched the bristles all the way up to the handle. Lather bursts from the dish while loading. Moved all the slick goodness to the shave bowl, whip a little, dip the tips, whip some more. The result.....absolute BEST Tabac lather I've ever done. Bowl overflowing, super creamy lather slinging fun, easily enough for 4+ passes. Finished with the matching Tabac EdC. Yeah, I know the TSD 30DC MWF/Tabac fragrance war....but Tabac wins here, and is Super Wifey Approved .
