    Wednesday's Shave

    GEM Micromatic Clog Pruf
    GEM S/S PTFE (2)
    Jayaruh #314 Cocobolo Wood Badger
    Vintage Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Williams Aqua Velva Aftershave (Spanish)

    This morning, the Clog Pruf sliced through my stubble like a hot knife through butter. The JR #314 laid down a wonderful Vintage Williams lather that was slick and creamy with no dissipation. I bet there was enough lather left in the brush for 5 passes.
    Just 2 passes provided a very comfortable and efficient result with no irritation or mishaps.

    Great classic shave with a classic kit, Andrew! I love my ClogPruf! I will have to shave with mine in the coming days. That and the G-bar are my two favorite Gem razors after the MMOC. :)

    Blade: Gillette Nacette
    Brush: Rubberset 400
    SS & AS: Stirling Christmas Eve

    Another quick shave to a near BBS finish. 2 passes with some cleanup. No leaks and I made the long commute from my bedroom, down the hall to my home office in time for my 10:30 meeting. In my defense, my wife woke me up and told me she had errands to run and asked if I could shower after she left. Then she asked me to make sure the kids were ready for school. I'm pretty sure she made the request in that order knowing I would jump on the chance to sleep in, but not reverse my decision when she dashed my hopes and dreams, as in, I hoped for more dreams...

    Funny thing is.....wifey and I like both MWF and Tabac fragrances. Arko....now that landed squarely in the NO category, as well as several other popular ones used here regularly. Just different noses....
