  1. Thanks, Joe! Most of it is attributable to Glen’s masterful honing! Enjoy your day!

  2. Drive that bottle to Northern Montana and chuck it across the fence perhaps? I'll grab it before it hits the ground. Well, there is no fence in most places, but you get the drift...
Awesome! What a great photo. We haven't had those super baby pics on here since Linuxguile stepped away for a bit.
  3. Snow looks so great when one doesn't have to deal with it on the ground. Great looking shave Joe.

  4. Another great looking LaResche, Jeff. Love Evan's brush as well. A query based on your report- do you usually pull the blades out each day?

  6. Nice, Joe, but I cannot figure out why you wouldn't either move some soap to a bowl or ditch that tub if you cannot lather with your preferred methods. A double dose of OS is always a good idea, though...

  8. Thanks Jason! I don't usually bowl lather because it is an extra step in the shaving process. Why transfer to a bowl when you are essentially doing the same thing to your face. I also don't have to clean out the bowl. I don't mind this alternative technique because I use it when I load Cryogen.

  9. Thanks, Jeff. The PermaSharps are much like other top tier Russian Gillettes. If you like Polsilvers, Nacets, GSBs, etc, you'd like these, I'm sure. If you don't, then I wouldn't bother. They seem to be often packaged for the Turkish market these days.

Also a fan of PAA’s Atomic Age Bay Rum. Barrel aged, zero cloves, super long lasting as mentioned.

I have a couple other Bay Rum offerings. Ogallala’s original is nice, but has cloves. Recently enabled on the Derby City Small Batch Shave Tonic, but yet to put in rotation.

  13. No I didn't. I was able to walk to my car and the tires are not deep in snow. They didn't plow the streets yet so I am waiting until it gets done. I used a broom to start clearing off the car, but it was too cold and windy. I wasn't pushing myself, but my heart was starting to race so I stopped and went back inside. I left my car unlocked last night so that I wouldn't have a frozen lock. If I can walk to my car that is parked in the street then I probably will be able to get out on the main road once they plow my neighborhood.

  17. A couple winters ago during a blizzard, a fellow resident warned me not to work too hard shoveling-"You'll get a heart attack" he said. A year later, I learned he died. They didn't say what from. Sad. Billy Joel had it right: "Workin' too hard can give you a heart attack-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack".
