Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Rinse Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap Semogue 1305 Boar J.R. Torrey Triceratops Personna GEM SS PTFE CWR Lustray Spice After Shave The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar. First pass with the J.R. Torrey and second pass with Triceratops with a GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I will be using the Triceratops for five days starting Monday.

Yesterday, a ‘shave off’ featuring a 7/8 Tuckmar and a Gold Monkey, details in the honing thread, but both shaved very well. Gold standard SMN provided the lather fuel via. Simpsons 57, and SMN balm finished up a great shave. Today I used an old favorite, a Filly 14 Sub Cero, the one that I did 153 shaves with. I haven’t been counting (thank goodness!) but it’s still buttery smooth after a dozen or so shaves. It’s just a wonderful razor. Soap was MdC rose lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a dab of Pen’s Opus 1870 balm finished up a perfect shave. BDBS!
