My other bottle has the yellow label Andrew. Was sceptical about the blue but I like it after trying it . The Thayers is kept in the beauty section and this is in pharmacy section.
Super shave, Andrew! You are the 4th member to use Dickinson's WH today. Maestro, Patrick and myself are the other three.
Colognes are only placed in small finger doses on either side of the neck and both wrists. Sometimes, it can be placed behind the ears. Colognes have a higher concentration of a scent than an aftershave. Because you are not dousing your face with cologne, it doesn't offer the skin protection of a splash or a balm. I don't wear colognes. However, I would use an unscented aftershave splash, balm or witch hazel, and then use the cologne. I think it would be overkill to use the same scent of the soap, the splash and then the cologne. That's my personal take on using cologne. It really is a ymmv thing, Chris.
Thayer's is overpriced. At my local drugstore, it was listed at 14 dollars and change. Ridiculous!. Dickinson's was 7.25 and that included the sales tax of 8.5%.
That's awesome. I've had good experiences buying cars. I've also realized I was ripped off after I got home. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
My first bottle of witch hazel was Thayers Original. After seeing how much I used it, I quickly found more economically friendly brands and settled on Dickinson's ($3.64/bottle). I did however buy a bottle of Thayers Lavender at Target for my daughter today. It will go in her Christmas stocking and I am sure I will sample it when she's not aware. She likes using witch hazel to clean her face because it doesn't burn like some astringents do.
Yes. I bought it over the weekend. It was 6.70 or abouts plus tax. It's more expensive in NY than where you are living.
I'm a really nice guy, but apparently I can be quite intimidating. I do a lot of job interviews and a few years ago HR surveyed new hires on their interviewing experience. I got dinged really bad for intimidating candidates. Apparently I asked really hard questions and gave no feedback on their answers. I just asked clarifying questions to make sure I understood their answers but gave no indication whether I was pleased or not. I was asked to change my interviewing style to be more encouraging. Apparently I can deadpan with the best of them and people find that very intimidating. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
