You just missed it in the post. It's a mismatched handle. The head is a Gem Damaskeene that can be dated to 1914-1915 given the heart-shaped spring mechanism. When I purchased this razor, it came in a lot of other Damaskeenes that were correctly paired with their respective short handles. This one came with a mismatched resin handle that was originally from an earlier "lather catcher" razor. The specific lather catcher from which this handle originated was a Gem Jr. Elite from around 1906. It was called "Ivory" although it's clearly resin. The handle predates the head by almost a decade, but I like the balance it offers, so I kept it paired as is. Here's an album of pics I took when I first acquired the razor a few years back.

Another joyous scent from @Dragonsbeard Frank is this Aventus dupe which is a little more pineapple forward but just divine and intoxicating. Got a slick and creamy lather whipped up using the "Kentuckian" brush from Tim at Knothead Brushworks and a Maggard's Timberwolf knot. Said lather was then extricated by the use of an N1 injector with a twin injector blade. I am feeling great and smelling better after applying the SFS and EDP. Hope everyone has a great day !!!

SE SOTD, Wed, Dec23rd 2020 Razor: Oneblade version 2 - excellent daily driver, mild range & a 3 pass with pickups does a wonderful job. great on chin area. Blade: Modified Gem Personna SS PTFE(4) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, predictable. Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood- nice scent with excellent lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi Chianti's 24mm knot- excellent lather creator with heavenly cloud like tips & a nice gentle scrubber if that is what is needed. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + AGT + pickups. Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Oneblade V2 and modified Gem coated blade.
