December Focus

Santa Maria Novella Crema da Barba~~Simpson PL8~~2011 Mühle R41/Sharp Star~~Nasomatto Pardon
Sticking with the theme o' the month, using some decadent products.
First, the Italian shave cream.
Bowl-lathered, as I am wont to do and the beefy Polo turned the cream in some beautiful and bountiful goodness.



The scent is derived from the monk's flagship product: Tobacco Toscano.

The shave cream is firmer than you would expect, I scoop some out and smear it in my bowl.
Upon lather-creation, the menthol starts to waft up and further plays an integral part in the
olfactory experience. Indeed, skipping ahead, after the final rinse, the menthol is still strong on the skin.
New Sharp Star blade in the R41 for a really smooth shave.
These are my favorite Russian blades, btw.
Even with the daunted 2011 R41, I was able, with the help of experience and a wonderful,
protective lather, to successfully perform the, what used to be for over four decades, neck passes,
resulting in the baby safely in its crib.
Witch Hazel skin cleaning, followed by some spritzes of a magnificent extract de perfume:
Nasomatto Pardon.
