I’ve had it for a few years now. It is a long razor at about 8” but it not hard to adapt to using. I love the style and uniqueness. Now if only it was in Wootz.

Nice razor, wonder if it is an export model? Have never seen it before (in Sweden anyway) most close is number 4 or 7 I guess Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
I believe so. I bought both of them (at different times) out of Japan, so they’re post-WW2. Razors this wide and hollow in Japan are rare, the only other ones that I can think of offhand is a Filarmonica 14 and a Henckles 14. I also have a pair of No 130 which are 6/8, and I take it maybe near the end of production as one of them is not ground that well.

Glen always has good ideas, so a King Pelican was up today, cream and balm were I Coloniali Rhubarb and the brush was a Simpsons 58.
Tabac shaving soap Yaqi badger Heljestrand frameback. I really struggled to get the razor shave ready. It now works.
Nice shave with this frameback. (It must have been the power of suggestion from the SOTD by @esvh ) I think I am still learning the optimal angles with this one or it just needs a good refresh. Excellent result at the end nonetheless Hot water preparation T&H Ultimate Comfort PSO Savile Row 3824 Silvertip Badger Ethos Lisse Collection Lavendar Shave Soap Arbenz Frameback Ethos Lisse Collection Lavender Skin Food Splash Happy shaving - Karl
That one is really old! What is it stamped with? Mostly they are in the neighbourhood of the year that says “rewarded at Paris fair etc” Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
I have always admired that razor when I see it on the vendors websites, but wow, that is beautiful razor.
I believe the arbenz is identical to the jaques lecoultre au sentiers. I have a quite large collection of framebacks, but this one is missing. Beatiful razor.
Last shave of the year. I wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. Tapatalk kullanarak iPhone aracılığıyla gönderildi
