O.K. gentlemen....y'all are going to have to put the Chubbys up for a while. They are starting to speak to me. Awesome shave Jim. I really thought you could not improve your pictures but I definitely see an improvement with the light box. Take care.
Fabulous shave and report. I was wondering myself if there was any scent and performance difference between the puck and the stick.
Oh no the blue Chubby! the Chubbys are killing me. Beautiful shave and I hope you day is not to bad. Hang in the Clint.
Thank Joseph..at least they came to the table. It is interesting that they did not want pictures. I'll post a few for them when I do a review.
I would say that because you can't open up the razor to clean it, then it has to be a Schick E. I now recall that they put the second patent number on later E's. Now, is that handle metal or plastic?
that's a G4 "66" made in 1949 -50..nice razor..i have one as well.. i believe the last razor produced by Schick was the F type .then the war started in '41.the Eversharp company took over after the war ended..something like that.. http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schickyear.htm http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm
the one that opened was the E Deluxe Set .my E3 is a fixed spring or Popularity Set http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schickyear.htm
Joe, I believe the original handle was plastic but was rotten. I fabricated and put new handle on it out of 1/2 aluminum rod stock.
