I slept in a little later than usual this morning. I was somewhat surprised Mocha was not already starting her morning routine of getting me up for our walk. Turns out, this morning was the first time Mocha, my 14 year old Belgium Malinois, didn't want to go for our walk. She doesn't seem to be in any obvious distress or pain but the whole thing does put damper on the start of the day.

With the start to the morning, the shave was just an afterthought. I was inspired by Andrew @Droo78 to reach for the LEA soap. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free near BBS. I just didn't feel like chasing today. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

good morning gents..another aristocrat shave in the books.this one is the mighty 3rd gen..heaviest gillette non adjustable..very smooth and efficient.a dream with the spoiler blade.fine proraso lather built by the sunspot chubby 2,bbs in 2+ lovely passes.wood and spice balm and cologne to finish..awesome..have a great Wednesday everyone..

Brush - Frank Shaving Badger
Blade - Astra SP
Razor- Rockwell 6S top cap, Karve C plate solid bar, Signature Shaving SSC59 handle- bead blasted
After Shave - Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum.

The Signature Shaving handle came in yesterday and is advertised as a stainless steel handle and it is. The only problem is it is plated in a real thin chrome plating that just does not look right. I took it to the bead blaster and removed the chrome. I really like the look of the blasted finish so I decided to go full Frankenstein with it.

The combo was an easy three pass smooth shave with the Soap Commander. Splashed a little Virgin Island Bay Rum and I am ready.
