I'm having a party! Just got these three in:
Shumate Barber De Luxe
Klas Törnblom rattler ground
Worcester Razor Co throwaway that came with the Klas

I bought the Shumate to hone and gift to a friend that has expressed interest in learning wet shaving, and I couldn't be happier. There is hardly any sign of wear, the blade centers nicely, and I think he should get plenty of reliable service out if it.
While looking for a good candidate for the above, the Klas and it's chipped friend fell in my lap for the unheard of buy it now price of $15. I could tell from the pictures that the scales were ivory, and they certainly are! I'm also quite pleased with the shape, being both rattler grind (of which I had yet to get one) and possessing a barber's notch with a bit of a Spanish toe to it. I've done a little cleanup with Simichrome, but I need to order a new tube, so making them totally shiny may have to wait (and may not be totally possible, I understand that, but I think I can clean it up more).

The Worcester reminds me of the movie The Duff, where they posited that every pretty girl had a "designated ugly fat friend". Instead, to get a nice razor, you also have to take the useless one off their hands. I will probably bury it in the yard. The chip is in a terrible place, and I don't really have the skills to grind something like that out anyway. And the scales aren't particularly good either. They warp in the middle and are comically thick sitting next to the ivory.

It is no wonder that there were so many men with moustaches in the early 19th century. It must be difficult to shave under the nose -.

I have a lot to restore. I must stop buying new ones, but these I couldn't let go.

That giant chopper looks like if you closed it fully, the edge would stick out the other side of the scales! I love massive blades, but the difference between the size of the blade and the size of the scales is almost comical here. Awesome find, just kind of a funny head scratcher.

Can’t wait to see the GB and the Singlestein cleaned up

Just had a wonderful test drive of the Shumate and Klas I pictured above after honing them up. Both took two sessions on my stones to get them behaving right, but they did a fantastic job tag-teaming for my head and face. Three thumbs up!

Congratulations! Nice Klas, it seems that Ivory was not that unusual on Swedish razors.

A “Pocket Razor” in his CarboInox Damascus.

A combination of stainless and carbon steel. Pretty cool machining for this one... couldn’t pass it up.

Picked this CVH up, should be on the way soon. Model number is unmarked, and both the stabilizer/heel are unusual for CVH and the nose is shaped a little differently. It was described as 21mm/ 7/8, but I suspect that it might be closer to 13/16. I was hoping maybe @esvh or @lottenhem might have some information. Should be here in 10 - 14 days.

Hmmm, the tail looks like No. 7 but the 7 has a rounded nose
