Sorry the razor didn’t check all the boxes for you, Dave! I agree there are variations amongst the Gillette New Standard, Deluxe, SC and LC, but I enjoy both the LC and New Improved models about equally! Of course, I only shave my dome now with safety razors, so it is a bit like apples and oranges! YMMV! Enjoy your day, and Happy New Year to you!

I did say I was on the fence though. Lovely shave with the Imperial glycerin soap, Danny! I remember purchasing a puck after your review, sometime last year or so, but was never able to achieve the results I get from my MWF.
